Log PreRun Script in Console Log

When we start a workspace, a pre-run script gets executed. Can we have the execution of this log logged in the console log. I recently ran into a situation where there was an error in my pre-run script which is why my workspace was not starting up. But there were no errors in the console log that suggested that.
