Hi Domino Users,

We are in the process of updating our Domino-managed base images, and this is your opportunity to provide your suggestions and feedback on what we include in these images.

What are these base images?

If you're not familiar with these, we provide two Docker base images that ship with Domino and are updated approximately 2x per year. These are typically set as the default base images for building compute environments in Domino, and are meant to suit the needs of most of our customers and provide a convenient starting point from which to build custom environments for data science. To learn more about these images, please see our support article: https://docs.dominodatalab.com/en/4.1/reference/environments/Domino_4_standard_environments.html

What will be in the Domino Analytics Distribution (DAD) image?

* Ubuntu 18

* Python 3.7.4

* R 3.6.2

* A selection of commonly used data science packages and utilities (to be elaborated as the list is finalized)

What would you like to see added?

We suggest one package per comment so folks can up/down vote on the single package, and please check what others have commented before suggesting a new package (to avoid duplicates).

We look forward to your feedback and suggestions -- we can't guarantee we can meet you request, but we value your feedback and will take suggestions under consideration.
