Allow users to append paths and query parameters to published apps URLs
When publishing an App in Domino, I as a Domino user would like the ability to visit different sub-pages or include query parameters in the URL. For example:
- https://<domino-url>/modelproducts/<id>/some_page vs https://<domino-url>/modelproducts/<id>/another_page; I as a Domino app developer might want to give different URLs to different groups of stakeholders to start them off on different sub-pages of my app.
- https://<domino-url>/modelproducts/<id>/?user=abcd; my Domino app may end up consumed by embedding the link in some other internal system, and I may want to pre-populate the page with information relevant to the individual user by having the link embedded with query parameters like username of who is following the link.
Both of the scenarios above can be worked around by requiring the end consumer of the app to click links once they arrive at the app, or type in some information, but a lot of Domino users/app developers want the ability to be more sophisticated than that.
